CTCORE Advocacy Day

Join us on Thursday, April 19th, for CTCORE-Organize Now's first Advocacy Day at the State Capitol. Meet us and our racial justice partners in the Old Judiciary Room of the Capitol Building (3rd floor) at 10am for coffee, community, and conversations on Reparations, Equity, and Liberation. After lunch, we will move to the LOB (Legislative Office Building) to share the CTCORE Platform and advocate for REAL policies with Legislators and their aides. Be a part of this important event.

  • Fair Treatment for Incarcerated Women
  • Fair Work Week
  • Minority Teacher Recruitment and Retention
  • Racial Ethnic Impact Statements
  • Allocating Funds to Support Housing for Puerto Ricans displaced to CT after Hurricane Maria.

This event is free and open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
